According to royal biographer Tom Bower, Meghan Markle is not considering the possibility of returning to the United Kingdom anytime soon. The Duchess of Sussex who infamously resigned with her husband Prince Harry as high-ranking members of the royal family in 2020 has not set a foot in the United Kingdom for up to two years now.

Although Prince Harry has visited the UK twice since they relocated to their California residence in the United States, Bower claims that Meghan Markle has resisted all attempts by Prince Harry to convince her on a return to the UK as she no longer cares about the royal family.

Tom Bower further reveals that Meghan Markle believes that attempting to win the hearts of the Brits by returning home is already a lost cause and visiting the UK will not help her image in the country. He said: “At the moment, Meghan’s ultimate destination is unclear, but she certainly has the backing to make a bid to star as an American politician. In parallel, Britain is a lost cause for the Sussexes.”
“In truth, I suspect Meghan no longer cares whether she is welcome in London. She has no intention of returning,” he added. Bowler’s claims surprise a few people as reports in the British press already broke out some weeks that the talented actress is the stumbling block to Prince Harry’s UK return.
However, her stance has been helped by the UK Home Office’s decision to deny Prince Harry the privilege of paying for police protection for them ahead of their anticipated return to the United Kingdom for June’s Platinum Jubilee anniversary celebration of the Queen. Meghan Markle’s current activities already show that the mother of two has completely moved on from the royal family.
