Aaron Rodgers and Shailene Woodley are reportedly still on good terms following their split, even though they considered getting married.
Aaron Rodgers And Shailene Woodley Are On Good Terms Following Their Split Despite The Fact ‘They Wanted To Get Married’
The pair decided to walk away from each other after having been together for one year. While they did get engaged during this period, the very fact of the matter is that they were from very different worlds.
Aaron, for his part, is a well-known NFL player that has been in the public limelight, and much more recently, in the aftermath of his Covid-19 vaccination status saga.
Meanwhile, Shailene is a Hollywood actress and has spoken publicly about a lack of interest in sports. With that background in place, it was clear that their priorities were different.
A source said: “They were on this joy ride and ended up getting engaged too fast. Friends felt they rushed into it.”
Although the timing of it may have been fast, there is no denying that there was still a certain element of chemistry involved. Reports indicated that they were not too far from actually walking down the aisle together.
Naturally, this is something that they would not have considered unless they were very serious about each other. But now that it is clear that this is not going to happen, it has been good to see that they have not let the disappointment turn into any form of bitterness.
The source stated: “They wanted to get married and were planning a wedding, but ended it before they made a serious commitment. It was an amicable split and they are on good terms now.”
In reality, the pair simply came together at a time where the pandemic was changing the way that people connected with each other.
And now that the lockdown restrictions are not as stringent as they first were, it became clear that they did not have the same connection once there was an element of normality in the world.
The following comments confirmed as much: “Everything was so different during lockdown, and they had been living in their bubble.”
At the very least, it is best that the pair decided to part ways before actually ending up in a marriage that they would have later regretted.
