Nikki Bella has confirmed that she has become more cautious about marrying Artem Chigvintsev after becoming a mother.

The pair are currently engaged to each other after having made the decision to do so in 2019. And in order to show just how committed they were to each other, they had their first child a year later.
While a wedding was on the cards and expected to have taken place in Autumn, 2021, the pandemic put a spanner in the works in that regard. That is why Nikki only wants to commit if she is fully certain.
In an interview with E! News Daily Pop, Nikki said: “Once I had Matteo and I started to raise him, I was like, when I say ‘I do,’ I want to make sure it’s forever.
“I know there are things that Artem wants too — like he really wants his parents there — but also, overall, I don’t want my son to go through a divorce.”
And the chances of a wedding happening anytime soon are unlikely for the following reasons. First of all, Artem’s parents are not currently in the US.
And given that they are from Russia, the current war it is having with Ukraine has made it difficult for them to come to the United States.
Therefore, Artem is hardly going to get married without them there. Secondly, in any event, with the conflict having raised so many emotions, the last thing that Artem will want to do is think about a wedding.
She added: “With where the world’s at right now, and trying to get two Russian parents into the country, it’s almost impossible. So the day I can get two visas is the day we will set our date and say, ‘I do.”
Ultimately, Nikki and Artem have to do what is right for them. And if they are in a position where they are happy within their lives, irrespective of whether or not they are married, then that is the most important thing.
