Danica Patrick and Carter Comstock have broken up much to the surprise of fans.

The pair had been dating for approximately one year, which was followed on the back end of Danica’s split from Aaron Rodgers.
While the split may have come as a surprise for the fans, behind the scenes it looks as though there was quite a bit of disharmony brewing.
As such, it was only right that they parted ways. In an interview with People magazine, Danica said: “We were together for a while, and unfortunately it didn’t work.
“But it doesn’t mean that it wasn’t a really fun time and we didn’t do a lot of really amazing things.” It is not clear exactly why they decided to split up, but outside of an alternative explanation, it could be based on the following reasons.
First of all, prior to Danica dating Carter, she was very vocal about not wanting to compromise on her values when it came to finding another partner.
She had a keen interest in fitness and was looking to expand her business ventures. As a result, there could have been a conflict when it came to such matters.
Secondly, given that she did want to settle down at some point, her following comments clearly demonstrate that Carter was not the one.
She added: “It doesn’t mean that there’s something wrong with either of us. It’s just a matter of finding someone who you can stand the test of time with.”
The reaction from the fans on social media did not paint Danica in a positive light. This was on the basis that she had failed to make another relationship work, with some even questioning whether there was something wrong in her approach.
One person wrote: “That is true…seems to have [a] hard time with relationships.” Once the dust settles down, we may be given more information as to why they decided to separate.
