Sherri Shepherd Happy To Have Wendy Williams As A Guest On Her Show Despite Replacing Her As Host - 'Wendy Knows Me'

Sherri Shepherd has revealed that she would be happy to have Wendy Williams appear as a guest on her show.

Sherri Shepherd Would Be Happy To Have Wendy Williams As A Guest On Her Show Despite Replacing Her As Host-‘Wendy Knows Me’

Sherri, for her part, is set to take over as a permanent host for Wendy as the latter’s talk show ‘The Wendy Williams show’ comes to an end this July.

This was on the basis that the production team felt it would be better for Wendy to take a step back and focus on her health.

While Sherri could have been forgiven for wanting to distance herself from Wendy and make a fresh start to the show, she has made it clear that she would welcome Wendy on it.

In an interview with Deadline, Sherri said: “I’m so thankful to Wendy for letting me fill in for her and letting me fill the gap to support her as all the other co-hosts have also done.

“I’m thankful because if it wasn’t for Wendy the eyes wouldn’t have been on me. I’m so thankful to her. We’re all praying for her.”

In reality, the chances of this happening soon are very slim for the following reasons. First of all, Wendy had dedicated a large proportion of her life to the show. Therefore, seeing somebody else takeover is not going to be an easy thing.

Secondly, in any event, there is always the prospect that Wendy could say or do something controversial in light of the fact that she was apparently dismayed by the decision to remove her as host.

Not only that, but Sherri has not spoken with Wendy as of yet. However, she does not feel that this is a problem. She added: “Wendy knows me because I’ve sat in as a guest and I guest hosted for her two years ago.

“So it’s not like she doesn’t know me but we’re not friends. I am glad that she trusted me when they asked if I could come in and trusted that I could do it.”

The best thing that Wendy can do is focus on herself. Her time on the show is over, and perhaps she should pay attention to planning for the future instead. So there you have it folks. Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
