Chris Brown has hit back at a woman, who had decided to sue him for $20 million on the grounds of rape.

The singer decided to share a series of messages she had sent him after their encounter, which he believes prove that he is innocent.
Reports had initially stated that the woman accused the musician of drugging her during the course of a party on a yacht, after which Chris had apparently raped her in the bedroom.
But in the following messages, it is suggested that things were consensual. One message said: “I wanna f**k u tonight at midnight lol,” while another remarked: “U were honestly the best d**k I’ve had lol i just want it again.”
These messages are significant for the following reasons. First of all, the women’s lawyer Ariel Mitchell has confirmed that she will not be pursuing the case, given that she was unaware of these text messages.
Secondly, which is of bigger importance, Chris has made it clear that he is not going to let things slide. Therefore, there is a serious possibility that the woman could face massive repercussions as a result.
In a statement in response, Chris revealed: “No more dragging me through the mud. CLEARLY YOU CAN ALL SEE THE (blue cap emoji). You don’t play with people’s lives like that.”
The response on social media was full of condemnation for the women. After all, she had fabricated a whole case against the singer which could have led to him being canceled.
Meanwhile, others praised Chris for protecting himself with those messages. One person wrote: “See what happens when men don’t text back.
“Thank God Chris brown saved those text messages cos this could have really ended up bad for him.” It is clear that there is still more to come from this story.
