Lady Gaga apparently snubbed Caitlyn Jenner at the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 30th annual Academy Awards viewing party on Sunday, March 27. The two used to frequent the same Starbucks and Jenner caught up with the Grammy Award-winning singer and asked “Are you spending time around Malibu anymore?”

Gaga gave a pretty blunt “Yes.” Jenner followed up and noted that she hadn’t seen her at the Starbucks in a while. Gaga is said to have given the former Olympic medalist a look of disgust and replied “I’ve switched baristas.”

Then she simply walked off from the convo. It’s as if there was a situation at that Malibu Starbucks and Lady Gaga was so disgusted by the events that took place that she just can’t with Jenner anymore. I mean, whatever occurred whether it was a slight, unreported run-in, or just general annoyance was enough for Gaga to throw the whole Starbucks away.

Perhaps it was something benign such as her being in a rush to meet someone else at the event and Caitlyn Jenner wasn’t one of those people. Meanwhile, Caitlyn’s bit of small talk was pretty run-of-the-mill “Hey, where have you been? I haven’t seen you in some time.” You could say it was friendly without being nosy.
The zero-to-sixty reaction caught on like wildfire on social media with some Twitter users finding amusement in the random encounter that took a left in a few sentences. Gaga’s “I switched baristas” has even been dubbed the modern edition of Mariah Carey’s iconic “I don’t know her” snub towards fellow popular singer Jennifer Lopez.
