Actor Ezra Miller was arrested last Monday, March 28 after an altercation at a bar in Big Island, Hawaii. However, this isn’t the Justice League star’s first rodeo with Hawaii police.
Ezra Miller Hit with Restraining Order in the Latest of Their Altercations in Hawaii
In speaking with the Associated Press on Wednesday, March 30, Hilo assistant chief Kenneth Quiocho said that there have been at least ten calls reporting Ezra Miller for various reasons. Not only that but these calls have been made since March 7.
The phone calls were over what assistant chief Quiocho called “manini” a—Hawaiian pidgin for “minor” or “small”—incidents. These incidents included refusing to leave a restaurant’s sidewalk area and filming people at a gas station.
Miller’s latest misadventure involved lunging at a man playing darts, shouting obscenities at a woman singing, and snatching the mic from the woman at a Hilo karaoke bar. The woman was singing the Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper tune “Shallow.”
The actor—who portrays The Flash in the Justice League films—was arrested and given disorderly conduct and harassment charges. They were only behind bars for a short period as they posted their $500 bail.
That wasn’t the end of Miller’s Hawaii havoc. They were later escorted off a couple’s property after another incident where they barged into the couple’s bedroom and threatened them. The temporary restraining order said that Miller declared:
“I will bury you and your slut wife.”
It was also claimed that the Fantastic Beasts star nabbed a passport and a wallet that had various other identification.
While bursting into someone’s home like the Kool-Aid man, threatening them, and stealing their identification should be enough for a restraining order, it was also stated that Miller’s wealth and fame made “access to weapons much easier; as well as sending associates to harass the petitioner.”
Honestly, there are questions about all these incidents because they seem random as hell. It reads like an absurd skit. Also, that’s kind of a lot of police calls for one person in a short period of time. It’s not even the full month, folks. What do you think about the antics of Ezra Miller on the island?
