Alec Baldwin has responded to the criticism he has received over continuing to have children.
Alec Baldwin Defends Himself Over Having More Kids But Fans Are Not Convinced-‘He Needs A Vasectomy’
The actor and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are on course to welcome their seventh child provided that the pregnancy goes ahead without any mishaps.
While fans were left perplexed over the couple’s decision to go through with having another baby, for Alec, he could not help but express how happy he was feeling.
In a post to his fans on Instagram, Alec shared a video of him playing with his young daughter María Lucía. It is clear that he is enjoying the parental journey, just as María is happy to play with her father.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “People ask why. This is why. Being a parent is the ultimate journey.” But it was not just Alec who faced questions over his decision to have more children.
The same could be said when it came to the actor’s daughter Ireland Baldwin. Alec raised her in conjunction with his ex-wife Kim Basinger, and yet, people wanted Ireland’s opinion on Hilaria and her father expanding their family.
And just like Alec had become exasperated with answering these questions, Ireland followed in kind. In her comments, she remarked: “I get countless messages from people who are kind of alarmingly obsessed with my father and his family.
“I think a lot of people assume my take on any of this, well here it is for free — it’s none of my business.” The response on social media was one of ridicule.
People continued to mock Alec on the basis that he wanted to have more children, despite being 64 years-old. In the process of doing so, their comments were very harsh indeed.
One person wrote: “He needs a vasectomy. Period,” while another person stated: “He wants to win the Breeder’s Cup?”
