Has Thandiwe Newton Found A New Flame Following Her Recent Breakdown Rumours?
This revelation is very telling in light of the background information that comes into play. It was initially claimed that Thandiwe was on the verge of entering rehab after suffering from a breakdown, as a result of her break up.
This then coincided with her exit from ‘Magic Mike,’ as she was replaced by Salma Hayek. But in and amongst that it was claimed that Thandiwe’s behaviour was erratic.
So much so that she apparently had an argument with Channing Tatum over Will Smith’s slapgate scandal, only for this to be denied. But through it all, it looks as though she has found some happiness. Sources claim that she has been getting close to musician Elijah Dias.
When asked how he views Thandiwe, this is what Elijah had to say: “From the relatively short time I’ve been fortunate to spend with her, I know Thandiwe and Oliver care deeply about the welfare of their children.
“That’s all I care about right now.” It is not clear if they are romantically involved, but if it does turn out to be the case, then it could end badly for the following reasons.
First of all, Thandiwe would be moving on very quickly. Therefore, there is a danger that she could be blindsided by rushing into things. Secondly, Elijah is only 23-years-old.
As such, there is a huge age gap between the pair as Thandiwe is 49-years-old. That is bound to have an impact on how they view life.
The response on social media was one of worry. People were of the view that Thandiwe had to focus on herself and avoid going from one break up to a potential other. One person wrote: “Whatever is going on in your life, take care of YOU first!”
