Keke Palmer Recalls A Fan Invading Her Privacy After Demanding A Photo-‘No Means No’
Being in the public limelight comes with many challenges. And for Keke, that is no exception. The American does have a huge fan base after having accomplished so much as an actress, that being an Emmy winner, as well as having garnered fans due to her singing career.
But when fans wanted to get closer to her, things did not turn out well. In a post to her fans on Twitter, Keke recalled how a fan refused her objection to having a photo taken. She said: “No means no, even when it doesn’t pertain to sex.
“I was at the bar the other day and this girl asked me three times for a picture and I told her three times nicely that I did not want [to] take one with her.”
This begs the question: how did the fan respond? Well, by the looks of it, things did not go well from there. It is claimed that the women had begun to start filming her, which naturally made Keke feel uncomfortable.
But rather than lashing out and leading to more controversy, Keke simply sat through that uncomfortable period. She added: “If I went off on her I would’ve been wrong, so I just nervously laughed while my privacy was invaded upon.”
The fans on social media resonated with what Keke had to say. They were of the view that such people needed to be held accountable, especially since on any other given day, things could have escalated.
And in the process of doing so, people shared their own struggles with this. One person wrote: “Never ever ever do this. Celebrities deserve respect and bodily autonomy.
