In the show, Ray plays the father of a woman who is a billionaire based on the back end of her technology success. But as part of that process, Ray’s own character ends up getting into a romantic relationship with a sex doll.
In the pictures here, we can see that Ray’s character is getting up close and personal with the doll. In one such image, he holds onto it while expressing fear. Meanwhile, in the other photo, Ray puts his head on the doll and falls asleep on the sofa.
Although this is being done for the sake of a television show, there is no denying that Ray has developed a certain attachment to the doll.
In an interview with Page Six, he said: “In a way, yes I am protective of her. It’s funny because all the elements are the same. You have to get into character.
“You have to feel what the character’s feeling. And you’re just not having to wait for lines to come back at you.” But when it comes to his real life relationships, Ray equally has a good connection with his wife Anna.
The couple have been together for more than three decades after having made the decision to walk down the aisle in 1987. During that period together they managed to raise four children.
While the couple could not be any happier, it is fair to say that the presence of the sex doll does crop up in conversation to the point where Ray finds himself defending the doll sometimes at the expense of his wife.
He stated: “My wife will say, ‘Oh did you have scenes with your blow-up doll?’ and I have to tell her, ‘It’s not a blow-up doll! It’s a synthetic partner, she weighs 80 pounds. It’s not this flimsy.’”
