Prince Andrew’s youngest daughter, Princess Eugenie, who recently gave birth and is in need of a new home has taken interest in Adelaide Cottage which is not too far from Queen Elizabeth II’s private apartments at Windsor Castle. But there might be an obstruction to that plan.
Prince Andrew May Clash With Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton Over Royal Mansion
Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton are planning to leave London behind, along with their apartment in Kensington Palace home and move to Berkshire countryside, which is closer to Queen Elizabeth. It has been revealed by insiders that the best options for the Cambridges and their children—Prince George,Princess Charlotte and the youngest, Prince Louis are the Adelaide Cottage (same as the one Princess Eugenie wants) and Fort Belvedere which is also at Windsor.
A Royal insider confirmed that this was really happening saying that, “The word is Eugenie is also trying to find somewhere to live and would like to settle in Windsor” and since Prince Andrew wants the very best for his family, why not?
Prince Andrew Accused Of Being Entitled And Manipulative
Prince Andrew has also been accused by Palace sources of being manipulative. A source said, “this is yet another example of the Duke of York and indeed the York family’s levels of entitlement, it’s entitlement, it’s extraordinary.”
The Prince Andrew has somewhat proven these accusations as he has decided not to leave his Royal Lodge home in Windsor even when he does not have any source of income to keep up with taking care of the lodge due to the sexual allegations levied against him. Prince William & Kate Middleton have found an enrollment for their first son, George in Berkshire and are going to find places for the other children—showing how serious the move looks.
