Queen Elizabeth is offering a stunning display of her personal jewelry box as part of her record-breaking platinum Jubilee festivities. The monarch plans to display numerous sets of her personal jewelry at the different royal palaces in June 2022.
On exhibition will be a collection of brooches worn by the Queen during formal Commonwealth tours, the Queen’s Coronation Dress, Robe of Estate, and her famed Diamond Diadem. It is understood that the Royal Collection Trust will be in charge of this display.
Which Items Will Be Exhibited To Celebrate The Queen Platinum Jubilee?
The Queen’s magnificent coronation gown will be on display at Windsor Castle from July 7 till late September 2022. It will be displayed with her purple silk velvet Robe of Estate and five jewels that signify the emblems of the Commonwealth.

The Flame-Lily Brooch, a symbol of the Zimbabwean and Zambian national flowers, will also be on display. The Australian Wattle Brooch, received by the Queen on her first trip to Australia in 1954, is also part of the precious item set for exhibition. As part of the palace’s summer opening, on display from July 22 to early October, 2022, will be the Queen’s famed Diamond Diadem and the Queen’s Delhi Durbar necklace, rounding out an already impressive collection.
Moreover, from July 3 to late September 2022, Edinburgh’s Palace of Holyroodhouse will be open to everyone for an exhibition of the queen’s official attires. At the top of the list of items on display will be outfits worn by the monarch at occasions to commemorate her 25th, 50th and 60th years on the throne. Also, the presents she received during formal visits to Scotland will be shown off to the public.
On June 2nd, 2022, the Jubilee weekend, which marks the Queen’s 70th year on the throne, will begin. Trooping the Colour, The Derby, and a concert at Buckingham Palace will be held as part of the festivities. Also, the Platinum Jubilee Pageant, which will be like a carnival and feature a lot of celebrities, is planned for the weekend.
