The NJPW United States Championship is becoming hotter than ever. Hiroshi Tanahashi claimed the belt for the third time at Wrestling Dontaku, defeating Tomohiro Ishii. Juice Robinson made headlines with a shocking heel turn, joining BULLET CLUB – and took aim at Tanahashi and the belt. Jon Moxley has been calling out Tanahashi for three long years, and hoped to get his own title shot soon. Finally, Will Ospreay already has a contract signed for a title match with Tanahashi – having only missed the match due to COVID-19. The solution is simple – as we just need a huge Fatal Four Way match for the belt!

No Time Before The Brawl Starts

Ospreay & Moxley would start this match by brawling to the floor, as Robinson & Tanahashi stayed in the ring. Robinson dropped Tanahashi with a lariat, before heading outside – where Tanahashi dove onto him. Tanahashi was tossed into the barricade, while Robinson missed a running cannonball.

Up on the ramp, Moxley would hit a backdrop on Ospreay – and finally got his chance to lock up with Tanahashi. Tanahashi would hit a jawbreaker and uppercut, before a body slam. He couldn’t complete the flipping senton, as Robinson would attack from behind. Ospreay would take out Robinson on the floor, and Tanahashi would be bitten by Moxley.

Ospreay hit a phenomenal forearm to Moxley, before a spinning backbreaker. Robinson whacked Ospreay with a steel chair – before Tanahashi was hit in the gut. Moxley would take Robinson down before looking for a suplex onto the chair, but Robinson was the one to land it.

Tanahashi would come back into the ring with some forearm smashes, before a big crossbody would land. A double dragon screw would drop both Robinson & Ospreay, before Moxley dropped Tanahashi with the cutter. Moxley nailed a double DDT, before taking a slingblade.

Ospreay looked to set up a table at ringside, while Tanahahsi nailed a set of Dragon Screws on Moxley in the ring. Texas Cloverleaf would be applied, but Ospreay came into the ring and wanted Hidden Blade. Robinson would save Tanahashi, before whacking him in the head with the title belt.

A second blow to the face would land, before Ospreay hit a 450 Splash. Robinson would nearly steal the pinfall, but Tanahashi was able to kick out. Moxley blocked a Stormbreaker into the piledriver, before Tanahashi hit a Slingblade. He’d nail Aces HIgh – before Moxley nailed a huge lariat and Death Rider on Ospreay – but only got two!

Bulldog Choke was applied, and Ospreay was starting to fade. Tanahashi dove right down onto the back of Moxley – with Ospreay crushed underneath. Robinson would pull Tanahahsi off the top rope, before being kicked off the apron. Moxley would take a Slingblade on the apron, before being placed onto the table. Tanahashi soared down from the top rope, and crushed Moxley.

In the ring, Ospreay nailed a Spanish Fly on Robinson, and nearly won. He’d go for Hidden Blade, Robinson hit a low blow and the facebuster the victory! Now a three time IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion, JUICE ROBINSON!

Since getting access to the internet, he's watched more wrestling than he could ever remember from all around the world. It's hard to keep track of what happens in the wild world of professional wrestling, but he always tries to stay up to date. Note: No relation to Tully Blanchard of Four Horsemen fame (probably).
