Victoria Beckham has given her take on what a woman should be aspiring towards when it comes to their bodies.
Victoria Beckham Speaks Out Against Women Being Thin-‘Have Some Boobs And A Bum’
The 48-year-old made some in-depth comments when it came to image after having spent some time in South Florida, which made her redefine everything.
And as part of that process, she rejected the notion that women had to come across as being skinny. In fact, she suggested that this was no longer in vogue.
During some comments that she made to Grazia magazine, she said: “It’s an old-fashioned attitude, wanting to be really thin. ]Women] want to look healthy, and curvy. They want to have some boobs — and a bum.”
Despite what Victoria has said, the star has been criticised in the past for being too thin herself. This had arrived in the aftermath of a social media post in which she shared the following picture.
In the picture here, we can see that Victoria is wearing a black dress. But around her waist, she has taken the necklace that would usually be on her neck and wrapped it around.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “When a necklace is the perfect belt.” But ever since that moment, Victoria’s viewpoint has changed.
In her cover shoot photo, we can see that she is in a star jump position. Her breasts are visible from her bra, as she wears some bunny ears on her head. With that being said, she had no inhibitions about women showing off their bodies.
She added: “There are a lot of really curvy women in Miami, and they really own it, you know? They walk along Miami beach with not a lot of clothes on, and they look fantastic.
“They show their bodies off with such confidence.” Time will tell if Victoria’s comments do end up resonating with more women going forward. After all, she has said the opposite in the past.
