Every once in a while, sports team owners are able to get in a nice clapback when it comes to fans and celebrities. Example A: Mark Cuban, owner of Dallas Mavericks dunking on Lil Wayne—with one of the hip hop legend’s own lyrics.
Mark Cuban Trolls Lil Wayne with One of His Own Lyrics After the Dallas Mavericks Block Out the Phoenix Suns
Things started after Lil Wayne—a fan of Chris Paul—tweeted “Luka a ho” on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Fast forward a week and there we have Weezy sitting courtside for Game 7 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The Phoenix Suns were taking on the Mavericks to see who would advance to the finals against Golden State.
As it would happen, point guard, Luka Doncic dropped 35 points on the Suns resulting in a miserable 123-90 ending for the Phoenix team. The following day, Mavs owner Mark Cuban retweeted Lil Wayne’s comment with a lyric from his 2018 song “Uproar” that read “It’s a sh** show, put you front row #MFFL”. Along with the lyric was a well-snapped picture of Lil Wayne at the game watching the Suns lose.

Currently, there’s been some finger-pointing and roasting of Lil Wayne for the comment igniting the Mavericks’ fire to not only win the important game but to spank the Phoenix Suns while doing so. If you’ve never heard the 2018 track, check it out below:
