Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker have been slammed for their wedding ceremony in Portofino, Italy.

The couple pulled out all the stops to make sure that it was a lavish event, but in the process of doing so, they appeared to have offended a large majority of religious people.
This was based on the fact that the wedding took place in a Catholic church, but their attire for the wedding was certainly not befitting of a holy place.
In the pictures here, we can see that Travis and Kourtney are locking lips. As part of the wedding ceremony, Kourtney’s cleavage is visibly on show. In and amongst all that, the religious references to the Virgin Mary are there for all to see.
Naturally, this started to raise a lot of talking points on social media. And as a consequence, a significant number of people blasted the pair for their lack of respect. In the process of doing so, the fans did not hold back.
One person wrote: “I just really feel like…[the] wedding is mocking the catholic religion? They don’t symbolize religious people at all, just feels like mockery. I’m not catholic but just doesn’t sit right with me.”
While another person stated: “I’m just going to say it point blank. Kourtney Kardashian’s use of the Blessed Mother in her outfit(s) during her wedding weekend was extremely offensive to me as a Catholic.
“I have a right to feel offended by it.” Supporters of the couple may argue that Travis is a member of the Catholic Church, which he has spoken so frequently about in the past.
And yet, at the same time, if that is the case then surely his conduct should have been much more appropriate for the occasion. The couple ultimately will do what they think is best, regardless of what others think.
