A brief update on an earlier story as Little Women: Atlanta star Ms. Juicy Baby is bouncing back after suffering a stroke. When we reported on her hospitalization in late April 2022, there weren’t any specifics on what occurred. Her talent team—Meme Agency—gave an update on her status in early May.
‘Little Women: Atlanta’ Star Ms. Juicy Baby Returns Home Following a Stroke in April
During that update, she had been released from the ICU and was recovering from a stroke. Ms. Juicy Baby—born Shirlene King Pearson—has since gotten much better and has been released from the hospital, according to her a GoFundMe update from her sister, Tanya Evans.
“She’s home! YAY!!!!! Check out her video on fb or ig. I’ll try and get a full version posted here as well.”
However, there haven’t been details on what brought the stroke on or how it’s impacting her physically and mentally. Her sister started the GoFundMe with a goal of $25,000 to handle the reality star’s medical bills and currently sits at almost $17,600 from close to 700 donors.
Apparently, there were rumors of it being a scam which she addressed in a May 14 update:
“MJB, Shirlene to me, is doing good. She is recovering in the hospital. At this time, she is trying to focus on recovering. Ya’ll have to know that she will be back in the public eye as soon as she can. In the mean time please respect the family’s wishes to have her focusing on nothing but recovering which is why I requested the gofund me
It IS legitimate. What Google says a person’s net worth is does not equate to their personal needs. I’m not sure where that number came from. Anyways, my mother and I TRULY thank you for all of your support. If you can give great. If you can’t or don’t want to give, great. Your prayers are much appreciated as well. All the love and vlessings to you all. ~Tanya”
