A video showing a woman being beaten up went viral with speculation emerging that the person in question was none other than Zendaya.

The star of the Spiderman franchise would have benefited from having her very own Peter Parker/Spiderman on standby if that was really her.
However, after the initial speculation, it turns out that the person in question in the following video was not Zendaya. In the video here, we can see that a woman is being beaten violently.
The person in question does have similarities to Zendaya in particular her hair. And yet, sources confirmed that it was not the star.
A source told TMZ the following: “This woman in this video is NOT Zendaya whatsoever, despite all the speculation. Case closed.” Regardless of whether or not it was Zendaya, the very fact of the matter is that someone had been beaten brutally.
As of now, it is not clear what the exact circumstances surrounding the attack were. In addition, the people involved in the incident have not been named.
With that being said, the fans on social media were outraged and demanded that something be done about this. One person wrote: “It doesn’t have to be Zendaya for it to be horrifying. Domestic violence is not ok. Not ever.”
While another person stated: “If this video is real, a woman was viciously attacked, but all you want to know is, if it’s Zendaya? Unbelievable!”
Once Zendaya has time to respond to this, perhaps she can take some time to reach out to the victim if that is possible.
After all, that is one way that Zendaya could make something positive out of a situation that was very traumatic for the person involved. And in the process of doing so, it can lead to a situation that can see the person responsible held to account.
