Yoshinobu Kanemaru didn’t get many victories during Best of the Super Juniors, but every single one was important. He defeated three different champions, including one third of the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champions with SHO. Now tonight, with Zack Sabre Jr. by his side – Kanemaru looks to take down SHO once again, who has brought The King of Darkness EVIL along for the ride.
House Of Torture Might Need To Put Gold On The Line At Dominion
BULLET CLUB would attack before the bell, with EVIL & SHO wanting to ensure they started this match on top. SHO took Kanemaru into the ring, where EVIL took control with a rough eye rake in the corner. Kanemaru would fight back with some wild strikes, landing a dropkick to open the door for a tag.
ZSJ would nail a trio of European Uppercuts on SHO before applying the Cobra Twist to EVIL. A neck twist would follow, before SHO took a kick to the arm. Fujiwara Armbar would be applied, but EVIL distracted the referee while Dick Togo saved SHO. Referee was dropped before Togo took a drink of Kanemaru’s whisky.
Kanemaru would kick Togo low, EVIL got the Santori Surprise, before SHO got popped up into an armbar for the finish. That’s two wins over the NEVER Openweight Six Man Tag Team Champs, and it might be time to bring Taichi and make this title match official.
BULLET CLUB Grows
Great-O-Khan & Jeff Cobb might have lost the IWGP Tag Team Championships recently, but they weren’t the team who got defeated during a triple threat tag team match. Bad Luck Fale & Chase Owens will need to beat them in a straight up tag team match soon, but tonight they bring El Phantasmo along for a six man tag team match. O-Khan & Cobb will bring Aaron Henare along, and will be keen on leaving with a big win.
BULLET CLUB would debut a new theme song here, and were fired up for a potential victory. GOK would start fast and apply the Sheep Killer on Owens, before taking him to the mat. He’d remain aggressive, only letting things go for the rope break before applying a second submission in the middle of the ring. Fale stomped his partner free, before applying a ribcage claw.
Owens hit a quick double stomp, before ELP hit a dive over GOK, before taking both United Empire off the apron before getting the Greco Roman Nipple Twister. GOK would take a back rake from Fale, before Cobb was finally able to get a tag.
He’d take a punch to the midsection, before almost getting Fale up for the Samoan Drop. Fale would be able to avoid the impact and hit the shoulder tackle. ELP & Henare would tag in, before being run down with the shoulder tackle. Aggressive strikes in the corner would follow, before Henare hit the suplex.
Owens & Fale were taken to the floor by their prospective challengers, while ELP hit an enziguri in the ring. A roll up with handful of tights merely got a two count, before Streets Of Rage was set. Ace Austin would come to ringside and seemingly join BULLET CLUB. Sudden Death & CR2 would follow, with ELP getting the victory.
Ace Austin would celebrate with BULLET CLUB, making it official. Will Austin be a good fit for BULLET CLUB? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
