The Actor has neither followed anyone nor posted anything on his newly opened account.

This account creation occurred just days after Depp won his legal battle against Heard. The trial started when Depp accused his ex-wife of defamation based on a piece she wrote for the Washington Post where she called herself “a public figure representing domestic abuse” even though she did not mention Depp’s name.

Depp’s legal team said that the actress “concocted the story in hopes of generating positive publicity and to advance her career” while she made Depp lose some deals. Based on the Virginia Jury’s verdict, Depp was awarded $15 million in damages while Heard was awarded $2million. The Pirates of the Caribbean star then let out a statement following his victory.
He said, “Six years ago, my life, the life of my children, the lives of those closest to me, and also the lives of the people who for many, many years have supported and believed in me were forever changed.” He continued that, “And six years later, the jury gave me my life back. I am truly humbled. From the beginning, the goal of bringing this case was to reveal the truth, regardless of the outcome.”
The Actor said further, “speaking the truth was something that I owed to my children and to all those who have remained steadfast in their support of me.” In Heard’s statement however, she expressed disappointment on the outcome of the trial and she claims that “it’s a setback.” While Depp is still on tour with Jeff Beck, he is hopeful that he would get to return to his film career in the future.
Depp’s decision to join the social media platform was mostly based on the support he received from users where he had over 33 billion views on the hashtag #JohnnyDepp and 20.2 billion views for #JusticeforJohnny Depp as opposed to Amber Heard’s #AmberTurd with 4.3 billion views and #JusticeforAmberHerad with just 85.9 million views.
