One user said, ‘JOHNNY’S FIRST TIKTOK!’ and another person chimed in, “We always stand with you Johnny!” However, the social media post has not gone down well with ex-wife, Amber Heard.
Reacting to the TikTok video, Amber Heard, in the late hours of Tuesday, June 7, 2022, released an announcement criticizing her ex-husband for his comments in the video. She said, “As Johnny Depp says he’s ‘moving forward,’ women’s rights are moving backward. The verdict’s message to victims of domestic violence is … be afraid to stand up and speak out.”
The ‘Aquaman’ star was on the losing side of a protracted court case between herself and her ex-husband, whom she divorced in 2016. Amber Heard is expected to pay Depp $15 million after a jury found her guilty of the defamation charges.
