The parents of a young Standing Rock tribe activist are accusing Ezra Miller of being an all-around awful influence on their daughter and now they want the law to get them away from Miller. Tokata Iron Eyes was 12-years-old when she first met a 23-year-old Miller in 2016. At the time, Miller was showing their support for the protesters and visited the Standing Rock Reservation.
Things quickly escalated as Ezra Miller took Tokata to London the following year to see the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them studio. As they became closer friends, Miller introduced their young friend to alcohol and psychedelics, according to Tokata’s parents.

That’s not all. It was also claimed that Miller is also the reason why their daughter dropped out of Bard College at Simon’s Rock in December 2021. They would head to Miller’s home in Vermont to bring Tokata Iron Eyes back home and found that she didn’t have any of the essentials an adult keeps on them. She had no car keys, driver’s license or state ID, or bank card.
Pretty much, they claim that Ezra Miller just had their daughter out and about in the world in jellyfish mode, away from her support system, and was controlling and restricting her freedom. The topper to all of this is that they claim to have found bruises on Tokata and credit them to Miller.
While Tokata would be taken home, she is said to have headed to New York City to link back up with Ezra. After that, they stayed in Vermont, L.A, and most notably Hawaii where Miller has racked up several incidents. Her parents want the law to step in and do something about this.
The claims are heavy but supporters on Twitter say that there are holes in the parents’ stories. Most notably has to be the December 2021-January 2022 window where they went to bring Tokata back. A solid point raised was that if they were there to bring her back, having dinner with the “kidnapper” and “bad influence” doesn’t seem like the play.
However, on the family’s side, Dr. Sara Jumping Eagle was at the dinner and gave their take on this:

Tokata herself took to Instagram to provide some context into the Ezra Miller “kidnapping” situation. She says that Miller has been nothing but supportive and that her father’s view that she needs help and can’t make her own decisions are toxic.
This is a dicey situation. There’s so much going on here from claims of what amounts to abuse, control, and grooming by one person on one side while on the other side there are claims of control and downplaying the awareness of the topic’s decisions by a person.
