As Britney was getting ready to marry her longtime boyfriend Sam Asghari on Thursday, June 9, her ex-husband Jason Alexander was arrested after trespassing on her property to crash the event. Alexander, who infamously wed Britney during a 2004 shotgun wedding in Las Vegas only to have their union annulled 55 hours later, reportedly showed up to her wedding venue uninvited with the intention of putting the kibosh on the entire ceremony. In what could only be described as a truly boneheaded move, Alexander also documented the entire thing during an Instagram livestream.
According to a witness who saw Alexander jump the fence onto Britney’s private property, “Jason walked up the Los Robles hiking trail next to Britney’s property, it must have taken him the best part of an hour”. The source also revealed, “He said he has been coming here for three weeks and he was live on Instagram, then he just jumped over the fence. There were two security guys parked nearby in black SUV’s but I don’t know if they spotted him. Later I heard the sound of sirens when cops showed up on the scene. Jason has a deranged look in his eye, like he hadn’t slept.”

Alexander proceeded to introduce himself to various security personnel and event planners while inside of the tent where the wedding ceremony is likely to take place. While broadcasting to all of his Instagram followers, he said that he was Britney’s first husband and she was his only wife, while falsely claiming that he was invited by Britney.
Naturally, a physical altercation between Alexander and Britney’s security took place, as Jason yelled, “Don’t put your hands on me,” while asking “Where’s Britney?” He repeatedly refers to the event as “bullsh*t” while he somehow manages to gain access into Britney’s home before his Instagram live stream freezes. When the live video returned, Alexander was restrained before being placed under arrest for trespassing.
Captain Cameron Henderson of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office was first to confirm the crazy encounter, saying, “We are there investigating after reports that somebody was trespassing on the property. I don’t know if he jumped over or how that happened but we are there investigating.” Sargent Cyrus Zadeh later spoke out about the incident, saying, “Earlier today we responded to the Britney Spears residence to a call that a trespassing was occurring.
Four deputies plus a sergeant attended the incident. We contacted a male subject by the name of Jason Alexander on the property and he has been placed under arrest as of right now for an out of county warrant. We’re still conducting an investigation to determine if any other criminal violations occurred”.
This isn’t the first time that Jason Alexander has been arrested for suspicious behavior…he’s got a rap sheet a mile long. In January of this year, Alexander pleaded guilty to stalking an unidentified woman in Tennessee. In August 2021, he was arrested at a Nashville airport for trying to enter a secured area. In January 2021 he was arrested in Nashville for driving under the influence along with two drug-related charges.
