We are on the path to Blood & Guts II – as Eddie Kingston takes his issue with Chris Jericho to the next level. Anarchy in the Arena was already insane, but now they will be trapped in the dangerous double cage structure. We already know Jon Moxley will join Kingston in this fight, and many feel Bryan Danielson will come along for the fight. However, Kingston is not a fan of Danielson.
Eddie Kingston Respects The Skills Of Bryan Danielson, Still Hates Him
During a recent interview with Joe Roderick, Eddie Kingston would go into detail about his hatred of Bryan Danielson. Kingston would be quoted saying the following.
“I’ve known Bryan Danielson longer than Mox and he’s been a piece of shit since I’ve met him. I’m not gonna lie to you guys and be like ‘Oh yeah, we’re best buds’. Bryan Danielson should be on so many, just on a lot of Mount Rushmores for wrestling. You can go independents, you can go now, if you’re talking about technical wrestlers, all of this stuff. . Bryan Danielson is in the GOAT discussion with anybody. But I’m not a mark, I’m not a fan. I’m not a stan. If I think you’re a bad person, or for Bryan, I think he’s a judgemental prick. He judges people. So I don’t like Bryan, there ya go.”
We already saw Kingston & Danielson clash in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament in 2021, and in the build and even during Anarchy in the Arena, which would cost them the match. Undoubtedly, they are incredible wrestlers together – but could well come to blows again very soon.
It’s not clear if Danielson will make Blood & Guts, as he’s currently on the injured list after reportedly suffering a concussion. This would have come from Anarchy in the Arena, as that is currently the last match Danielson worked. With Forbidden Door so close, Danielson will be pushing to return – as he’s been eager to fight wrestlers from the NJPW roster.
