Anarchy In The Arena would live up to the name, and Jericho Appreciation Society came out with the victory in a bloody brawl. In the end, Jericho & Hager secured the win. They’re here tonight to gloat about just that, even with Menard showing visible scars from a fork attack on Sunday.
Blood & Guts II Is Coming Soon!
Parker would say that no one can deny they are the most dominant faction in the world today. Menard would say that they are the Princes of Pain. Jericho said that he was nearly lit on fire by the psycho Eddie Kingston. What kind of a man would burn another man?!
Bryan Danielson even threatened to kick his head in, before Jericho & Hager choked him out. Tonight, Daniel Garcia will do that to Jon Moxley in the main event. Eddie Kingston & William Regal would cut this promo off, saying he’ll fight them all tonight. Actually, he has a better idea – and wants BLOOD & GUTS against them!
Kingston rushed the ring, and that was just a distraction. Ortiz blindsided Jericho with the madball, before taking scissors to the hair of Jericho. THat would be enough to provoke Jericho, and Blood & Guts II is set! However to get this, Ortiz needs to accept a hair vs. hair match – a small price to pay! Jericho also said that he will make sure the fans never sing Judas again, perhaps signalling it’s time to change his theme song.
Young Bucks Pin The AEW World Tag Team Champions
At Double or Nothing, Jurassic Express once again managed to leave a triple threat match with their reign as AEW World Tag Team Champions intact. Tonight, they face off against two teams they’ve previously wrestled in Young Bucks & reDRagon, as well as The Young Gun himself, NJPW’s Hikule’o. They will unite with Darby Allin, Christian Cage & Matt Hardy for a huge ten man tag team spectacle.
Jungle Boy & Christian Cage would kick things off with a double hip toss on Kyle O’Reilly. Bobby Fish tagged in and Matt Hardy would unite with his old rival to hit a back elbow to the neck. Twist Of Fate would be blocked, before Matt Jackson tagged in. Christian Cage would hit a Swinging DDT out of the corner, as Fish was taken off the apron with a hurricanrana from Jungle Boy.
Things broke down in the ring, as Young Bucks hit a double superkick. Undisputed Elite would swarm Christian, before Hikule’o would flaunt his power. Cage was beaten down in the Undisputed Elite corner, before he’d be able to tag in Luchasaurus. Jurassic Express easily beat down Young Bucks, but Hikule’o would make the save.
Allin would run down reDRagon, before hitting a Coffin Splash to Hikule’o and was caught in midair. Chasing The Dragon on the floor would land, before Matt Hardy would slam the faces of reDRagon into the corners. Hikule’o made the save before taking a Twist Of Fate. Christian hit a spear off the apron, before Young Bucks hit a double superkick and Meltzer Driver, pinning Jurassic Express.
