Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Results.

Tonight should be a fun one with some Money in the Bank Qualification matches and an intercontinental Championship Match between Ricochet and GUNTHER.

    Let’s get to the action!

Money in the Bank Qualifying Match – Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus w/Butch

This started off as a hard hitting affair with Drew gradually taking control early on with a Mishinoku Driver for a pin attempt.

Sheamus kept alive with a kick and clubbing blows on the apron, and Drew turned it around to hit ten of his own, but Butch distracted him and Sheamus shoved him into the ring post and hit a White Noise on the apron as we headed to commercial.

Sheamus followed it with an Alabama Slam for a pin attempt, and kept working on Drew but ate a couple of clotheslines and a pair of belly to belly suplexes for his trouble,

They traded headbutts and Sheamus hit a Future Shock DDT for a near pinfall. Sheamus headed to the top rope, but Drew caught him and hit a White Noise off the second rope for his own near pinfall.

Sheamus countered a Claymore with a running knee, but it wasn’t enough to keep Drew down.

He caught Butch with a Claymore when he came into the ring, and Sheamus sent Drew to the floor with a clothesline and hit off the top rope, and backdropped Drew into the time keeper’s area.

They grabbed chairs and knocked them out of each other’s hands and Drew sent Sheamus over the announce table.

The ref called the match, but whether by count out or double DG we’re unsure as we headed to commercial.

Their brawl continued on the floor as the official announcement was a double disqualification, which is fine since they’ll probably have a rematch next week.

They fourth into the fans while officials tried to separate them.

Money in the Bank Qualification Match – Lacey Evans vs. Xia Li

Their initial lock up ended with Evans hitting a shoulder block, and Li took her down for the match’s first pin attempt. She followed it with some kicks and a suplex for another pin attempt.

Evans made a comeback and nailed a flying European uppercut, and her handstand bronco buster for a near pinfall.

She closed it out by catching Li off the ropes with a Woman’s Right for the win.

It’s great to see her back in action.

Backstage, Drew approached Adam Pearce and demanded to be put in the MITB match.

Sheamus later went to Pearce and demanded results.

Ronda Rousey headed to the ring and she started off by saying she can’t wait to prove to Natalya that her armbar is superior to Natalya’s sharpshooter impersonation.

Shotzi interrupted her and said she may not have experience or a famous move, but she has serious aggression and a killer instinct.

She tried to goad Ronda into a match right there and then. Ronda accepted her challenge.

Championship Contenders Match – Ronda Rousey vs. Shotzi

Ronda easily countered Shotzi initially, but Shotzi started to get some headway with a snapmare and kick to Ronda’s back, but she ran into a powerslam.

Shotzi caught her with a boot and went for an Upside Down, but Ronda countered it into an ankle lock but broke at the count of 5.

Shotzi hit a tornado DDT on the floor, then put her in the ring for a near pinfall instead of taking a count out win.

She then went to work on Ronda’s left arm, and locked in an armbar but Ronda managed to roll through to get out of it.

Ronda dodged a kick in the corner, and took a combo from Shotzi before she got ticked off when Shotzi slapped her.

Ronda hit a the Baddest Slam and finished it with Piper’s Pit an dan armbar for the win.

This was a better match than we expected since Shotzi’s never allowed to do much in the ring.

After the match, Natalya attacked Ronda from behind and locked in a sharpshooter and held it for a couple of minutes before letting her go.
