Capping off this year’s edition of WrestleMania Backlash is one of the biggest six man tag team matches in recent memory. On one side we have The Bloodline, united in full. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos are all together tonight for this match. Facing them are the RAW Tag Team Champions RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre. Anything could happen with all this talent in the ring, and this one promises to be a fight.
RK-McBro Came To Fight
Randy Orton would start with Jimmy Uso, before being driven into the corner. Jimmy would punch the 14 time world champion, only to take a heavy uppercut. Riddle would tag in and hit a gutwrench suplex on Jimmy – while tagging in McIntyre. Some heavy strikes and a deadlift suplex would follow, before Jimmy was offered a tag. McIntyre wanted Reigns, but he’d get him.
The Tribal Chief hit the ring, remembering the Claymore he took 48 hours ago… and tagged in Jey Uso. Jey would take a boot to the face, before being dumped across the ring. Riddle got the tag, and The Usos would be able to double team him to gain control for The Bloodline. Jey Uso was able to choke Riddle on the ropes, as Jimmy laid in some cheap shots.
Jimmy would dive in for an elbow drop as Jey Uso nailed a backbreaker. The ring was cut in half, and Reigns would finally get into this ring with intent to actually get physical. Riddle was beaten into the corner, before a uranage planted him in the middle of the ring for a two count. Jimmy would miss a splash in the corner, but Jey would be able to cut Riddle off before he made the tag.
Orton took a superkick on the apron, but Jey took to long taunting. Riddle nailed a knee strike, and had an opening to the tag. Reigns would get a tag alongside McIntyre, and they’d trade blows in the middle of the ring. McIntyre hit a big lariat out of the corner, before a suplex and neckbreaker. Jey ran into the ring, but took a neckbreaker as well.
The Bloodline Stands Tall
Reigns was able to now control the pace of the match, and nailed some rapid lariats in the corner. He’d have a chance to flaunt his two world championships – and walked right into a Claymore. Randy Orton was ready for the tag – and would meet Jimmy in the ring.
He’d nail a set of snap powerslams on The Usos, before the draping DDT – before catching Roman Reigns with an RKO as he ran in for a spear. Jimmy hit a superkick, but was dropped with an RKO. Jey saved the match, before McIntyre would go for the claymore – but took a double superkick.
Riddle would hit the ring, and launched Jey with an exploder before the broton and PK. Fisherman Buster & Floating Bro would follow, but Jey was able to kick out. He’d set up the RKO but was blocked into a roll up. Jey hit a pop up neckbreaker, only for Orton to make the save.
Orton took the fight to the floor, before taking a superman punch. McIntyre dropped Reigns before prepping the announce table – only for Reigns to send him through. Riddle would dive onto Reigns & Jimmy, before Jey dove onto him. Jey hit a superkick in the ring and looked for the top rope splash, but Riddle caught him for a super RKO – before Reigns snuck a tag, and hit the spear for the win.
