Camille Vasquez has blasted rumors suggesting that she and Johnny Depp had a romantic connection.

Camille was widely praised for the role that she played in managing to secure Johnny his defamation trial victory against his ex-wife Amber Heard.
But in the process of doing so, people began to speculate whether there was anything going on between the pair.
This was on the grounds that they were very close during the stages of the trial, with people even noticing the way that they would interact and touch each other.
While a certain subset of people did welcome the idea of a potential relationship between the pair, the very fact of the matter is that Camille found those claims absurd. So much so that she decided to put them to bed once and for all.
During an interview with People magazine, she said: “It’s…an unethical charge being made. It’s sexist. It’s unfortunate and it’s disappointing, but at the same time it kind of comes with the territory.
“I can’t say I was all that surprised.” The attorney did recognise that she was very close to Depp. However, this had to be put into a wider context.
First of all, Johnny and Camille became very close friends. This is due to the fact that she has known him for around 4 years amid his battle with this case.
Secondly, Camille recognised that she was seeing someone’s reputation being damaged before her very own eyes. And that is something that she could not simply shut out.
She added: “I hug everyone. And I’m not ashamed about that. This man was fighting for his life and it broke my heart to see him day in and day out have to sit there and listen to the most horrific allegations being made against him.”
In reality, the chances of Camille and Johnny getting together are slim. She is happily in a relationship with her boyfriend Edward Owen, and that is the most important thing. So there you have it folks.
