Amber Heard and Johnny Depp were making the headlines for quite some time in the past few months. It appears to be a simple lawsuit backed up with various pieces of evidence, but it ends in an unexpected way. Johnny Depp ends up with a label of a defamation victim and Amber Heard ends up with the label of being a psychologically unstable person and an abuser.
Johnny Depp won the defamation trial against his ex-spouse Amber Heard. After the verdict, she is under the scope of many journalists and makes several statements that attract much attention.
Look What Happened To Me When I Came Out! – Amber Heard Says Johnny Depp’s Ex-partners Are Afraid To Accuse Him
One of the things that bring most of the attention back to the ‘couple’ is a statement that Amber is sure she is not the only one being a victim of his harassment. She is confident that Johnny’s ex-partners are ‘afraid of him’ so that’s why they don’t come out to speak about his abusive character.
“Look what happened to me when I came forward, would you?” – Amber says to the NBC air host Savannah Guthrie.
Amber seems to continue her saga of defamation statements headed to Johnny Depp. It is almost like she did not have enough from the trial and from the verdict. The interviewer Savannah, like all of us questions why Amber is continuing with this ‘play’.
“Some people might ask why are you here? Are you brave? Are you reckless, or vindictive? Why did you want to do an interview?” – Savannah asks the defamation trial star.
“You know, Savannah, as silly as it is to say this out loud…my goal, the only thing I could hope for at this point, is that I just want people to see me as a human being.” – Amber answers.
“I will stand by every word of my testimony until the day I die. Never felt more removed from my own humanity than now.” – she states her thought on her feelings for the past relationship.
“I never had to instigate it. I responded to it. When violence becomes normal, as I testified, you have to adapt.” – she closes the argument.
But, after the trial you cannot help yourself but ask, how much of this is true? She did have fabricated evidence. She did lie on the trial. And once the public loses trust in someone, to gain it back you need a miracle.
Depp won the trial and the actress is to pay him more than $13 million. Allegedly she doesn’t have the money to do so, so how will the situation get settled we are about to see.
Do you trust her now, when she still says that she is a real victim of domestic violence? Why would she continue with these claims if she is not confident in their truthfulness?
