Kevin Ford, the Burger King employee who went viral after having not missed a day of work for 27 years straight, has been inundated with job offers.
Burger King Employee Who Went Viral For Working 27 Years Consecutively Has Been Inundated With Job Offers-‘Employers Have Been Hitting Him Up Left And Right’
Kevin, for his part, first came to the attention of the public when he posted some footage of himself receiving a measly goody bag in recognition of his 27 years worth of consecutive days working.
And in the aftermath of that process, Kevin’s daughter set up a GoFundMe campaign. This resulted in swathes of donations coming in from the public and one even from none other than comedian David Spade.
The former ended up donating $5, 000. And by the looks of it, things are now only going to get better with these job offers.
According to TMZ, Kevin told them the following: “Potential employers have been hitting him up left and right, offering a wide range of career changes.”
This begs the question: will Kevin be leaving Burger King? As of now, he has indicated that he is happy with his current situation. However, that does not mean that he has ruled out the possibility of leaving.
This would ultimately be done if the right opportunity came across. Secondly, Kevin’s GoFundMe has reached $170,000 and counting. Therefore, there is no immediate hurry for Kevin to consider his next steps.
The response on social media was one of delight. A significant proportion of fans were happy to see that Kevin was in a good place and hoped that he would be able to have much more success going forward in the future.
One person wrote: “Congratulations and everybody should have that kind of work ethic I hope they do right by you!!!” while another person stated: “Some of the nicest guys I’ve ever met spent their lives flipping burgers.”
Time will tell what Kevin ends up doing next, but one thing for sure is that he has public support. So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
