The rapper R. Kelly receives a sentence of 30 years of prison by the U.S. District Court Judge Ann Donnely for human trafficking with women and underage girls. Furthermore, he receives a supervised release and a $100 000 fine.
This is barely his first felony. The rapper has a full dossier of previous charges and convictions, such as racketeering and possession of illegal drugs and weapons. However, this one is the one that got him the most time in jail and the one that most probably will be his last. Not because he is changed, but because he will be in prison until his last day.
The Pedophile R.Kelly Receives 30 Years In Jail For Sex Trafficking
The team that backs up the rapper did everything it could to lower the sentence as much as possible. They were aiming at around a 10-year sentence, but the strong evidence and the solid case built against him did not give a chance for sympathy by the judge.
- Kelly has been molesting and abusing underage women for decades. And to back this up amongst the evidence there is video footage as well. A video of him speaking about his dark fetishes and confessing his unthinkable perversions.
Furthermore, the rapper now faces yet another trial as well. A trial for child pornography and other charges connected with it.
Back in 2019, a documentary series brought his dirty deeds to light. In the documentary, ‘Surviving R. Kelly’, his victims through the years took a stand and spoke about his wicked acts.
Public figures that are in contact with the rapper in one way or another confirm his way of threatening women. They confirm that on the lesser hand he keeps his woman on a short leash. Under maximum pressure and constant surveillance. This, in some strange way, helps him satisfy his perverse desires.
Many of his victims request to attend the courtroom for the deliverance of the verdict. R.Kelly did not make eye contact with any of them during the whole time. He kept looking at the empty space, as the judge gave him the ‘bad’ news.
R.Kelly tortures his victims to an extent where they totally lose their will to live.
“You made me do things that broke my spirit.” – one of the victims says. “I literally wished I would die because of how low you made me feel.”
R.Kelly got what he deserves. It is a pure wonder how he manages to stay out of jail for so long. His victims are there to speak out. In any case, now they can be at peace. The justice is served. Hope that this fair trial will be a lesson to all abusers out there.
