Chris Rock and Lake Bell are seen together numerous times over the past several weeks. At first, they were ‘caught’ in Saint Louis at a Cardinal’s baseball game. And now, weeks after they are having dinner together at an upscale Los Angeles restaurant.
There is still no official confirmation from the couple about their allegedly romantic relationship. Nor from someone close to them to back up the claims. So, are they indeed dating, or just hanging around remains unclear for now. However, one thing is sure, they are having a great time.

The actor is now ‘happily’ divorced from his ex-wife Malaak Compton. The divorce came even before this year’s Oscars. Since then he took the stand several times to express his feelings about the situation in which he is in. His latest appearance where he speaks about it is in Netflix’s special, Tambourine.
There he states that he is taking the complete blame for the divorce since he is the one that cheats. He saw another woman while in marriage with Malaak Compton. Chris Rock states that he is really greatly sorry for the position where he is now. Especially when he takes into consideration the divorce and that his actions caused a separation between him and his daughter. That is a traumatic experience for him and he has no idea how he will get over it.
The actor continued his story to tell that after the divorce he bought a house in the same neighborhood. He did this just so he can be close to his daughter and visit her on daily basis. He states that he strives to be an exemplar father as much as he can. The actor says that regardless of what his relationship with his ex-wife is, he wants to continue having a close relationship with his daughter. Rock still wants to take her to school every morning and he still wants to be as close to her as possible.
After he got the divorce, it is usual that he starts looking for a way to continue his dating life. And this is fairly easy for famous persons such as Chris Rock. Now, he seems to have extremely good times with Lake Bell. They go out occasionally and are not getting out of the spotlight. They are not afraid of the paparazzi, or the press.
The actor has had a successful comedy career over the years. There is no doubt about it. However, Chris Rock’s fame culminates during the latest Oscars. Will Smith walked on stage and slapped him, because of a ‘bad joke’ he told about his wife.
