Tonight should be a fun one with Brock Lesnar returning and Bianca Belair defends her Raw Women’s Championship against Carmella.
With plenty to come, let’s get to the action!
After a recap of Roman Reigns’ return on Smackdown, Brock Lesnar opened the show by coming to the ring. After accepting the fans’ welcome, he put his hat on a ring post and then addressed Reigns.
WWE Raw Results (7/11) – Brock Lesnar Destroys Alpha Academy; Finn Balor w/Damian Priest Defeated Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall
He talked about Reigns living high on the hog, and quoted the saying “pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered” and he called Reigns a hog and he slaughters them every day on his farm.
Paul Heyman came out in response to Lesnar’s promise to defeat Reigns at SummerSlam, and mocked the fans for booing.

When the fans chanted “you suck” Heyman said Lesnar doesn’t suck, and then how it bothers him to go from the greatest WrestleMania of all times to the most barbaric SummerSlam of all time.
He went on how this plays into Lesnar’s strengths despite the Bloodline will probably overwhelm him like all his and Reigns’ matches in recent memory.
Heyman tried to play the sympathy card about Lesnar wanting to destroy Reigns, and then said this is one streak Lesnar will not break.
Theory came out to keep the trend of multiple people coming out to start the show going, and he promised SummerSlam will be one of the best nights in WWE history after he wins the US title, the cashes in on the winner of Lesnar and Reigns.
Lesnar invited him into the ring now, and Theory turned him down.

Theory had the footage of Lesnar abusing him in HIAC to prove he didn’t forget, and Alpha Academy came out and Otis and Lesnar faced off, but Gable hit a chop block on Lesnar and Otis hit a shoulder but Lesnar was unphased.
He leveled Otis with a clothesline and suplexed Gable to the floor and sent Otis out after him. Lesnar then grabbed the ring steps and beat both of them with it before he tossed the steps into the ring.
Lesnar wore out a chair on Gable and Otis, then suplexed Gable and F-5’d Otis through the announce table.
Rey Mysterio w/Dominik Mysterio vs. Finn Balor w/Damian Priest
Before the match started, Priest insulted Rey and asked Dominik to join the Judgement Day or continue to fall with his father.
Balor compared Rey to Edge and how they took care of Edge, and then he called Rey out for being a bad leader and father.

Rey clocked Balor and they hit double dropkicks to sent Priest to the floor, and Priest pulled Balor out of the ring to avoid his own double team.
The match started during the commercial, and Balor was in control until he ran into an elbow and Rey went to work with a hurricanrana that sent Balor to the floor, and then he hit a crossbody over the top rope.
Balor responded and hammered on Rey with a series of strikes and kicks, but Balor took his leg out on the top rope to halt his momentum.
Balor went to work on Rey’s left knee in the ropes, but Rey hit a dropkick and sliding sunset bomb into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Rey kept battling and hit a 619 but missed a frogsplash and Balor hit an elbow slam for a pin attempt, then a front slam and a Coup de Grace for the win.
