Khloé Kardashian wants baby daddy, Tristan Thompson to be “as involved as possible” in raising their new baby, a source discloses to PEOPLE. Khloe is expecting another child with the NBA star via surrogate. The reality TV star wants it to be just like the way they co-parent their daughter, True Thompson.  “Just like they do with True, Khloé will co-parent the baby with Tristan,” the source says. “Tristan is the dad and Khloé wants him involved as much as possible. He is great with True.”

The source also tells people that Khloe Kardashian “doesn’t see herself as a single mom.” They said, “She has a great support system with a lot of help. She feels very lucky.”  An insider had previously told the outlet that despite the pair expecting another child together, “Khloé and Tristan are not back together and have not spoken since December outside of co-parenting matters.” Kloe’s representative confirmed to the outlet on Wednesday that she and the basketball star are expecting another child together via surrogate. “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” the rep shared “Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.” According to a source, their surrogate had conceived when the NBA star’s cheating scandal surfaced in December.

Khloe and Tristan officially ended their rekindled romance in January after finding out the NBA star fathered another child, who was born on December 1, 2021 with fitness trainer, Maralee Nichols. He was still with Khloe when he impregnated Maralee. Fans know that the duo had been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2016 and gave birth to True in 2018. Tristan apologized to Kardashian at the time, writing, “Khloé, you don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you. I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
