Director Kevin Smith has lauded actress Margot Robbie.
Director Kevin Smith Praises Margot Robbie For How She Interacted With His Daughter Harley Quinn-‘That’s Class Act Right There’
Kevin’s comments were in relation to a meeting he had with the actress during the premiere of her film ‘Sucide Squad.’
And during the course of that process, Kevin was in attendance with his daughter, who just so happens to be called Harley Quinn, the very name of the character that Margot plays in the film.
So when his daughter managed to meet Margot, it was something that only a few kids could have dreamt of. In his comments, Kevin said: “[She] said, “Come on, bring Harley,” and went over.
“And Margot met Harley and was like, “Oh my God, they tell me you’re Harley Quinn. I’m Harley Quinn too!” And blah, blah, blah. And had this cute conversation.”
But this would turn out to be the first of another encounter. Margot and Harley crossed paths again, but this time, on a movie set. Harley went on to become an actress and landed herself a part in ‘Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.’
In that said movie, Margot played the character of Sharon Tate. So when they met each other, Margot happened to recall meeting Harley the first time, which made things even more memorable.
Kevin’s following comments confirmed as much: “Margot says, without missing a beat, “Oh, the real Harley Quinn!” And my kid like, could not f***ing believe that she remembered and sh**t.
“[Margot] was like, “We met at the premiere”— really, that’s class act right there.” The fans on social media also praised Harley. They could not hide the fact that Margot’s gesture was one of a kind.
One person wrote: “That is cool as s**t!” Even if Harley’s career does not take off as Margot’s has done, then at the very least, she has some memories to last her a lifetime.”
