We are definitely living in a simulation. Someone is playing with us, altering reality and intervening in certain situations. This is too strange to be really happening. Elon Musk has to be somehow a favorite character to the person controlling the simulation. Now, less than 2 months before the trial takes place, a whistleblower comes out of the blue to ‘save’ Musk.
We are speaking about the former head of security at Twitter, Mr. Peter Zatko. He decided to take the stand and point out some disturbing details about Twitter and its security problems. This is exactly what Elon Musk has been looking for. A card that will allow him to continue his path freely and without the pressure of $44 billion dollars Twitter purchase weighing on his neck.
Elon Musk Might Be Let Free To Opt Out Of The Twitter Purchase After An Ex-Head Of Security ‘Flips’ And Makes Public Statement About Platform’s Security
In April, Musk decided to buy Twitter at a price of little more than $54 per share. Or $44 billion in total. However, after months of going forward and backward, the billionaire decided to back off from the deal. This caused him major problems and issues that in the end resulted in the trial that is to follow after two months.
According to Musk, Twitter is not transparent enough when presenting the documentation and the details he seeks, and that is why he insists on having all details he seeks before closing the transaction.
Peter Zatko chose the most suitable moment to make these claims. Right before the trial, he approached The Washington Post and CNN, claiming that Twitter had some sort of foul practices when it comes to security on the platform.
This is not a matter of Elon only. According to the ex-head of security, this is a matter that might interest congress and federal agencies as well. This presents a major breach in national security and democracy. Zatko claims that there are many people that work in the executive area on the social media that tried to cover up the vulnerabilities of the platform. And these burning feet feeling that they now have explains the urge for requesting a fast takeover.
If you think that this is all, you’d be very wrong. This is the least of Twitter’s problems. According to Zatko, there are high-rank employees in the company that could be working for foreign intelligence agencies. If this proves to be true, then a full arrest chace will be arranged, and many people working at Twitter will get incarcerated. Additional to this, Elon will walk away happy and without a need to pay a penny to Twitter.
Peter Zatko says that if you would like to delete your account from Twitter and ‘completely disappear’, that is impossible. Even after requesting deletion of your account, Twitter still holds most of your data on their server.
Zatko also says that Twitter doesn’t have the right tools to determine if their claim for 5% bots is true. Furthermore, they have no way to detect fake accounts and not yet alone delete them.
