We’ve recently been seeing some backstage issues arise in All Elite Wrestling, and one such issue has been between Eddie Kingston & Sammy Guevara. Originally set to meet in the ring at All Out, things got personal when Guevara called Kingston a ‘fat piece of shit’ in a promo, a line which AEW had to edit out from the promo.
This led to Kingston shoving Guevara by the face backstage, and earning a two week suspension. While Kingston & Guevara are seemingly fine to move on, some fans think this just makes the prospect of a match all the more interesting – and former TNT Champion Miro agrees.
Miro Stirs The Pot With Issues Regarding Eddie Kingston & Sammy Guevara
Taking to Twitter to try and end things, Kingston would post the following – trying to be the bigger man and just ending this nonsense.
“Fuck it ok then after this I’m chilling but leave Sammy alone. In the court of law he is the victim. Let it go and leave the kid alone. For real done with this.”
However, Miro found a chance to stir the pot – and would reply with the following.
“Kid= fighting words. I’m no comish but We need this resolved in ring ASAP.”
Easily A More Compelling Angle Than AEW Fans Were Originally Handed
Originally this feud was simply a carry over from Kingston’s feud with Chris Jericho, with Guevara having helped Jericho win the Barbed Wire Deathmatch. That is what prompted Kingston to challenge Guevara for All Out in the first place. However, wrestling fans love to see angles that blur the lines of fiction and reality, and AEW has just had one land right on their laps.
Everyone is talking about the issues between Kingston & Guevara, and it’s become a hot angle due to that. Provided that they can be professional and bring this to the ring, it could be something that helps to move some last minute PPV buys for All Out.
