That is according to Professor Pauline MacLaran. The anticipation surrounding the memoir is brewing, especially since the release date remains unknown.
It was hoped that the memoir would be released at the back end of this year, but another report indicated that it had been delayed once again with the Duke of Sussex considering which truth bombs he should include.
With that being said, Harry is looking to position himself as a rebel who will take on the establishment. In her comments, Pauline said: “I think Prince Harry will be looking to position himself as the rebel royal.
“A rebel with a cause as it were. Rebel brands challenge the mainstream – in this case the traditional strictures placed on members of the Royal Family – and gain support from their ‘David versus Goliath’ narratives.”

If those comments are taken to be true, then they are very significant for the following reasons. First of all, this is precisely what Meghan Markle had been accused of with her ‘Archetypes’ podcast.
Piers Morgan claimed the Duchess of Sussex’s behavior was akin to that a victimhood mentality. Secondly, Harry has already shown that this tactic will divide public opinion as the Oprah Winfrey interview followed the line of reasoning in speaking out.
And yet, Pauline is adamant that this is the way Harry will proceed going forward. Her following comments confirmed as much: “Harry is likely to suggest he is a victim of the (royal) system and now he is fighting for his freedom, etc.
“This type of approach will sit comfortably with Meghan’s podcast series that also has rebel connotations.” Only when Harry’s memoir is released can people make a judgment over it.
