Leonardo DiCaprio and Camila Morrone have reportedly broken up after they hit “a rough patch.”
Why Did Leonardo DiCaprio And Camila Morrone Split?
Once again the Hollywood actor has failed to settle down, despite things looking very promising with Camila. They had been dating for a period of around 4 years.
Not only that, but DiCaprio had also apparently forged a close connection with Camila’s mother. And yet, speculation started emerging that things were not going well when DiCaprio had not been seen with Camilla since July.
And now the news has been confirmed that Leo has been spending time with friends instead. A source said the following: “He has been spending more time hanging out with all his pals like Tobey McGuire and Jamie Foxx.”
This begs the question: why did they part ways? Well, outside of an alternative explanation to the contrary, it could have been due to the following reasons. First of all, there was a significant age gap between the pair.
Leo is 47-years-old, while Camila is just 25. Therefore, it is possible to suggest that the pair had different priorities in their lives.
Secondly, it must have been a major reason as Leo had apparently never been so close to someone. Another source had previously confirmed: “[Leo has] never loved a girl like this.”
But now it seems that they could not balance their personal and professional lives. Another source stated: “[They were] traveling a lot. Distance played a factor.”
The fans on social media, though, were not surprised by the decision. A certain subset of people were of the view that the pair may have seen their futures in a different way. That is why the split was not a shock to them.
One person wrote: “I’ve been waiting for this. Not because I want any of them to be unhappy but because I had the feeling that she wanted a little more.”
