September 13, 2022 saw a human trafficking sting in Florida nab some interesting johns over an eventful week for Sheriff Chronister and the Hillsborough team.
The operation was initiated on September 12 with the goal of wrangling people who were targeting minors for “commercial sexual acts”. In layman’s terms, these guys were looking for under-aged prostitutes specifically.

According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, Jay Saxe (33) was arrested on September 13. He had shown up with the intent of meeting a 14-year-old and owns Kona Ice in Lakeland. September 15 was a double whammy as 44-year-old Martial Boutchueng Djidjou—a cancer researcher with Moffitt Cancer Center—was arrested with the intent of paying a minor for sex.
Armed with $60, Pinellas Park Fire Department lieutenant Brian Streeter (50) showed up to meet with a 14-year-old girl for sex.
His almost 22-year career with the department ended with this arrest. Pinellas Park City Manager Bart Diebold expressed disappointment in Streeter being caught in the sting:
“I am extremely disheartened to learn of the reprehensible acts that are alleged to have been committed by Mr. Streeter. He took an oath to serve our community and betrayed that oath and the trust placed in him as a public servant and a leader in our fire department.”
County Sheriff Chad Chronister applauded the efforts of the Hillsborough County deputies in the sting and their continued efforts to clean up the community:
“While these men may be trying to hide their disgusting life choices in the shadows of our community, our detectives are the beacon of light.”
Sheriff Chronister added that the Hillborough County Sheriff’s Office would continue to hunt down sex offenders and those preying on minors going forward.
