After Dynamite: Grand Slam, we know that Jon Moxley is now a three time AEW World Champion. While MJF is waiting to cash in his title shot, this Golden Ticket Battle Royale will determine the first challenger for Moxley in this reign. There’s some big names looking for the shot, as Jay Lethal, Matt Hardy, Lance Archer, Evil Uno, Trent Beretta, Chuck Taylor, Jake Hager, The Blade, Brian Cage, Ari Daivari, John Silver, QT Marshall, Rush, Penta El Zero Miedo, Hangman Page, Dalton Castle, Marq Quen, Danhausen, Isiah Kassidy, Lee Moriarty, Ten, Dante Martin, Daniel Garcia, The Butcher, & Cole Karter all hit the ring.
A Brawl From The Opening Stages
On the way to the ring, RUSH, Blade & The Butcher would attack Page from behind. Dark Order would rush to make the save – and it was utter chaos. Dalton Castle would get a good pop as he came out, and it was looking like a reverse battle royale in the early stages. Hardy & Lethal would actually battle in the ring, while RUSH found a moment to pose.
Order would be restored, and everyone actually hit the ring. Daivari was the first to be eliminated. Danhausen would curse Cole Carter, and best friends took him out. Marshall was cursed, and alongside Page – Danhausen would eliminate him, before Butcher & The Blade took him out. Brian Cage would take Dante out, as Hager tried to take Best Friends out. He’d be taken out himself.
Castle would almost be taken out by Cage, but his boys would make the save – and Cage was taken out. Archer would send Trent to the apron, and ran him down with a lariat. Castle was taken out, before Moriarty & Garcia were taken out by Matt Hardy. RUSH would target the mask of Penta, as Hardy almost took Archer out.
Hangman Page Secures The Title Shot
Silver would almost get Archer out, before Hardy hit Twist of Fate on Blade and throw him out. He’d hug private Party, before Butcher took Hardy and Private Party out. RUSH would send Silver out, before Penta took Archer out. Lethal would be saved by Satnam Singh, before Penta was taken out. Buckshot Lariat would nail Lethal, and he’d be thrown out.
RUSH & Page were the final two – and they’d trade shots in the middle of the ring. This would turn into a brawl on the apron – before RUSH would look for the powerbomb – only to take Deadeye – handing Page the win!
