Kathie Lee Gifford has been devastated by the rumours concerning Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen potentially getting divorced.
Kathie Lee Gifford Devastated By Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen’s Divorce Rumours-‘I’ve Been Praying For Them’
Initial reports indicated that the pair had fallen out following Brady’s decision to come out of retirement and get back into the NFL.
This allegedly did not sit very well with Gisele, who favoured that Brady spent more time with the children since she had supported his career.
This tension was seen when Gisele was uncharacteristically absent from Brady’s home games. And it has now all come to a head with reports that Gisele has been speaking with divorce attorneys.
And that has left Kathie feeling the worst. In an interview with Fox News, she said: “I’ve been praying for them. … I hope they reconnect with why they fell in love to begin with.
“What’s the biggest problem in most marriages? They forget why they ever fell in love in the first place.” Marital issues are something that Kathie is fully aware of. After all, she was married to the late NFL player Frank Gifford.
Their marriage lasted around 3 decades, and during that process, Kathie admitted that she had her fair share of struggles.
But the importance of marriage is something that should not be downplayed, which is why Kathie doubled down on her beliefs that marriages were now increasingly falling apart, which cannot be a good thing for the children involved.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “God loves marriage. God instituted marriage for reason, for a purpose. Family is so important to God. … Marriages are under attack. Monogamy is under attack.”
The fans on social media made their position very clear. A significant proportion of the fan base bashed Brady, as they felt he chose the NFL over his family.
One person wrote: “He stated many times she was ready for him to be a husband, father, etc at home not on the field.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
