Britney Spears has controversially claimed that her father, Jamie Spears, was attempting to kill her.

The singer’s comments were made in relation to her 13-year conservatorship that was clouded by accusations of abuse. And as part of that process, Britney recalled being sent to a mental health Institution in 2019.
That is where Britney began to question the decisions that were made by her father, as she suspected that something was not right. In her comments, she said: “The whole thing didn’t make sense.
“[I didn’t understand] the isolation, the nurses, the vials of blood, the constant communication. [I wasn’t being treated for cancer]. None of that was true.”
Naturally, Britney began to question the exact reasons as to why she was sent there in the first place. And in the process of doing so, she let everyone know that she would want her father to experience the same thing that she had to undergo.
In this way, Jamie could only understand what he put his daughter through. While that may be the case, Jamie has from the outset stressed that he was acting in the best interest of his daughter.
And yet, Britney doubled down on her beliefs that something sinister was going on. Her following comments confirmed as much: “I’m fine. I’m alive.
“The hardest thing is to know that they were just being mean and that I really felt like my dad was trying to kill me. And I hope he burns in f–king hell.”
The fans on social media, though, felt that Britney was not helping herself with these types of comments. This was on the basis that Jamie’s deplorable conduct had been well documented. Therefore, Britney’s continual verbal attacks only made her come across worse.
One person wrote: “Britney is doing Jamie’s job for him. He doesn’t even have to defend himself anymore, he knows people are thinking, ‘it just Brit ranting again.'”
