An Alabama man was charged with the murder and dismemberment of his live-in girlfriend in Blount County on October 23, 2022. Two days prior, the couple returned from a birthday celebration in Florida. Justin Fields (38) tried to have sex with 52-year-old Tammy Bailey but was turned down.
Alabama Man Stabs and Dismembers GF After She Turned Down Sex
Fields became upset and stabbed Bailey once before leaving the room. The Blount County Sheriff’s Office believes that Tammy Bailey died on Friday, October 21. The situation becomes bizarre when Fields returned to the room the following day and began stabbing Bailey’s body. Deputies said that he returned believing that the stabbing was “a dream.”
Fields called his father and said that he’d done something “horrible.” His father contacted Bailey’s sister who was a neighbor of the couple. When she tried to go inside and check on Tammy, Fields prevented her from entering. She was told that he” had done something horrible and she didn’t need to go in there.”
Around 5:30 PM, authorities arrived at the residence in response to a welfare check request. Inside, they found Tammy Bailey dismembered. An examination revealed that she had been stabbed over 100 times. Her cause of death was determined to be the first stab to the heart.
Justin Fields was arrested on October 23, 2022, and is being held in the Blount County Jail. He was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse. No bail is listed for him at this time.
