Matthew Perry has admitted that he is single for now following his break up from Molly Hurwitz.

The pair had been engaged for around one year before they decided to part ways. This was a shocking thing to say the least since Perry had referred to Molly as the ‘greatest woman.’
And this failed relationship follows a whole host of other women from which Perry has broken up from. This includes people such as Lizzy Caplan and even Julia Roberts.
With that being said, Perry has no one new in the pipeline. In his comments, he said: “[I] could not be more single. [I am] off [of dating apps] forever. I’m not sure how [to meet people]… but that’s not the way to do it.”
Much in the same way, Perry made it clear what he is looking for in a partner. And for all his struggles with substance abuse in the past including alcohol and drugs, it was surprising that he did not rule out dating someone that was not sober.
This may have taken some by surprise since something like that may make it harder for Perry to stay on the straight and narrow. Although that may have been the case, one thing for sure is that Perry does not want someone who is a heavy drinker.
His following comments confirmed as much: “I wouldn’t like to be with somebody who drank so much that you couldn’t recognize them. That would not be good. … But I don’t have any rules about that.”
The fans on social media were not surprised that Perry was single. A certain subset of people were of the view that time had caught up with him.
Therefore, he was not as highly sought after as previously. One person wrote: “He’s not much of a catch nowadays.” Time will tell if Perry is able to settle down moving forward.
