Florida Man Arrested After Running His SUV Into Ex-Wife’s House While Drunk – Charged with 7 Counts of Attempted Murder
That combination of being drunk at 2AM but also being awake are the makings for a nuisance that most wouldn’t want to deal with at that time of night in that condition. His ex, Ingrid Alas wouldn’t allow him inside because of a previous history of him being violent while drunk.
Ortega either really needed to or really wanted to get inside the residence as he got into his SUV, plowed into a car, backed up, and drove it right at the front porch. Alas’ niece Everlyn Urrea was sleeping inside when she and her sister heard Ortega’s vehicle getting through the house.
The household was able to escape the house via the back door. From reports, no one was injured in the situation. Once authorities arrived, they found Ortega’s black Ford Explorer in the front yard with significant damage to its front as well as damage to the house and the car.
After his arrest by Orange County Sheriff’s deputies, he was charged with seven counts of attempted murder, burglary of an occupied dwelling, and aggravated assault domestic violence.
Currently, Nisan Ortega remains behind bars on $62,000 bond which doesn’t give Ingrid Alas and her family much security in regards to dealing with Ortega. The family aims to fix their current home as opposed to moving.
