Reports emerge that King Charles will show off his generosity and gift £600 to every one of the staff working at Buckingham palace. The newly crowned King will give 10s of thousands of pounds from his own pocket, as a token of his appreciation for their service. Reports state that King Charles decided to stimulate the staff as a result of the increase in living costs in the United Kingdom.
All staff members working for the royals will receive the promised bonus. Cleaners, servants, footmen, butlers, and many more will receive the stimulation bonus on top of their salaries this month.
King Charles Shows Incredible Generosity And Pays Staff An Additional 600 GBP From His Own Pocket
“The King is giving money out of his own pocket to the lowest earners working for the household. He does this to help them cope with the cost of living crisis.” – an unnamed source told the Sun on Saturday. “It is being given on a sliding scale with those most in need and on lower wages getting the most money. It is to target where it is needed the most in the Royal Household. Furthermore, this decision reflects the reality of the economic situation the country faces.”
This move by King Charles speaks loud about his generosity and thoughtfulness for his loyal servants. The world is witnessing global inflation and recession. The increase in prices that comes with it comes as no surprise. Most tragically, there is nothing that a common person could do to change the situation. Ukraine’s situation and the supply of gas and energy in Europe do their part and shake the world economy.
“The King is very much aware of the soaring energy bills people are facing. Furthermore, he worries about the economic well-being of loyal palace staff and doing what he can.” – the unnamed source continued.
King Charles showed his modesty when he announced the coronation ceremony. He will not include the complete tradition which lasts for three days. The King decided to shorten it to one day only. The celebration will happen on the 6th of May, 2023. Furthermore, Buckingham palace announced that only 2000 people will attend the coronation ceremony. For comparison, Queen Elizabeth’s coronation in 1952 had more than 8000 guests.
“The coronation will reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future while being rooted in long-standing traditions and pageantry.” – a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told Daily Mirror. “The King is very aware of the struggles the modern Britons feel, so will see his wishes carried through that. His coronation ceremony should stay right and true to the long-held traditions of the past. However, it should also be representative of a monarchy in a modern world.”
“The King has long been an advocate of a streamlined of slimmed-down monarchy. This project could certainly fit with his vision.” – the spokesperson added. “He has already spoken of his wish to continue his mother’s legacy. This includes continuing to recognize what the people are experiencing day by day.”
