14-Year-Old Arrested With 9g of Marijuana in Singapore-Wide Drug Raids – Over $261K in Drugs Seized
The teenager was nabbed as part of a country-wide drug raid by the CNB which ran from November 6 until November 11. Authorities would wrangle 96 drug traffickers throughout Singapore. The seizure netted an insane amount of narcotics.
In all the Central Narcotics Bureau took in 3,624g of marijuana, 882g of meth, 402g of ketamine, 243g of ecstasy tablets, 146g of heroin, and 6g of “new psychoactive substances”.
Also seized were 695 tabs of Erimin or Happy-5, 219 LSD stamps, and 23 bottles of suspected GHB. The combined street value of the drugs is over $261,000 which seems lower than some of the amounts that have been seized at the U.S-Mexico border.
The CNB touched on the two larger seizures of meth and marijuana saying:
“The seizure of 882g of ice can feed the addiction of about 500 abusers for a week, while 3,624g of cannabis is sufficient to feed the addiction of about 510 abusers for a week.”
